Certified Professional Logistician

The Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) Program is an industry wide accreditation scheme for professionals in the Transport and Logistics Industry. The Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) certification will become the benchmark professional qualification of excellence for measuring capability and proficiency within the profession of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

The program recognises and requires reaching industry benchmarks with regard to educational experience, work experience, and industry participation with ongoing professional development such as membership of the LAA and other educational courses and sessions the LAA offers.

The initial application process (See CPL Application Pack) requires a submission of evidence at the required level recognising achievement of these industry benchmarks. Once accreditation is achieved and the status of CPL is awarded, the Awardee is required to then maintain 50 CPD hours of professional development and educational learning in logistics and supply chain per year.

How to Become a CPL:
1. Please follow the links on the right hand of this page to download the detailed CPL application pack. This pack contains a complete how to guide with a Checklist, Personal Information, Criteria Guide, CPL Code of Conduct, CPL Refund Policy, all in an editable pdf format).
2. Submissions are mailed with payment to CPL: LAA LTD, PO Box 1265, Parramatta NSW 2124.

RAAF LEG:
RAAF LEG members of the ranks of WGCDR and above are invited to apply for CPL status, with the application fee covered by the Air Force Logistics Professional Development Program. The LAA also offers the Certified Transport Planner ( CTP) . This certification is a professional qualification that brings together the breadth and depth of skills required of a modern Transport Planner. The CTP unifies disciplines, such as Engineering, Town Planning , Geography and Economics, encompassed within the Transport Planning Profession.
